DO Design Consultants is an architectural and engineering practice in Solihull. We work at the point where design ambition meets structural, thermal and regulatory reality — and we treat that point as the interesting part.
Philosophy
Restraint is a technical decision as much as an aesthetic one.
We start every project by understanding the constraints — the site, the budget, the planning context, the way the building will actually be built. Design follows from there rather than being imposed on top of it.
Because architects and engineers work side by side in the studio, decisions are tested against buildability early. Fewer changes later, fewer surprises on site, and a finished building that resembles the one we promised.
We keep the practice deliberately small so directors stay involved from first sketch through to final inspection.
